We’re looking for a talented ambitious front-end developer who is passionate about creating appliance level experiences for people interacting with (our) technology.

OPENFORMAT is an early stage funded startup with ambitions to change the way people use the internet.

We’re looking for a talented ambitious front-end developer who is passionate about creating appliance level experiences for people interacting with (our) technology.

You are the beginning of how we interface with the world and how the world interfaces with us. You will be responsible for the look, feel and UI of multiple projects, confidently spanning multiple teams.

You are hungry to learn and share your learnings with the rest of our team, whom incidentally are world class, with amazing combined experience, who came together to use new technologies to “make things better” - you are pivotal in this foundational team.

• Concise and well documented code - MUST

• Clear commenting for automated reference documentation - MUST

Other stuff

• Work independently, make informed decisions about design and development, and effectively communicate progress and challenges.

• Provide actionable feedback and functional enhancements to the core team based on user interaction with prototypes.

• Understand quality is not for someone else to check.

• Self-motivated with the ability to move fast, make decisions autonomously, and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of asking the right questions and sharing insights effectively.
